In via San Felice, in the heart of historic Bologna, just a short distance from the Two Towers and Piazza Maggiore, is located Palazzo Pallavicini, dating back to the XV Century. Its great halls cover roughly 1800sqm and are superbly frescoed. In the splendid “Hall of Music” on the 26th of March 1770 Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, a fourteen years old prodigy at the time, gave a performance.
The evocative halls of the splendid historic palace now host an exhibition dedicated to the Colombian artist FERNANDO BOTERO.

The display comprises a total of 50 unique pieces, including mixed technique drawings and a precious collection of watercolours on canvas. The exhibition, divided in six sections, follows the themes most dear to the artist and highlights his poetic approach of the world, through which he summons a beauty made by generous volumes, warm and pervasive colours and original iconographies.
