Serena Obert Weddings & Events is an agency based in Turin and founded in 2009, specializing in the design and production of bespoke destination weddings and refined private events throughout Italy.
After studying in the United States, founder Serena Obert developed her professional background within the Luxury Fashion Division of LVMH, an experience that shaped her aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail, later refined through training with renowned Italian wedding planner Enzo Miccio.
Together with her partner Stefania Poletti, Serena creates highly personalized celebrations for an international clientele, combining creative direction, careful planning and an authentic understanding of Italian hospitality.
Alongside her work in the wedding industry, Serena has also been involved in education and professional training, teaching Event Planning at the University of Turin and at Accademia del Lusso in Milan, within programs supported by Regione Piemonte. She is also the author of books dedicated to the wedding world, including the novel Voglio fare la Wedding Planner.
Over the years, the studio has collaborated with prestigious international brands such as Cartier, L’Oréal and Dolce & Gabbana, bringing the same level of elegance, discretion and meticulous attention to detail to every event.

Every wedding begins with a story.
Mine began in a house surrounded by woods, where the door was always open, flowers were picked from the garden, and there was always space for one more person at the table.
My mother loved to cook, and the house was always filled with the scent of food, laughter and long conversations around beautifully set tables. Family porcelain and simple gestures of hospitality were part of everyday life.
Even my family history is somehow connected to weddings. After the war, my great-grandmother rebuilt her life by creating bridal trousseaux for young brides. In a way, the story continued — only the form changed.
It was there that I learned something that still guides my work today:

Today I share this journey with my partner Stefania, and we have been designing weddings together for more than eighteen years.
We come from different places and backgrounds, which makes our collaboration both natural and complementary.
I carry with me the traditions of Tuscany and the Ligurian Riviera, while Stefania’s roots are in Sicily and Lake Como. Different landscapes, different sensibilities, the same deep love for Italian beauty, culture and hospitality.
When we design a wedding, we see ourselves not only as planners but also as guides and conductors. Our role is to bring together an exceptional team of professionals and orchestrate their work with care, vision and experience — a little like a coach, and a little like a project manager — so that every element contributes to a seamless and harmonious celebration.
Over the years we have built a network of collaborators who represent the true excellence of Italian craftsmanship, creativity and style.
But the heart of our work is always the relationship with the couple. We take time to understand who they are, their story, their personalities and the atmosphere they wish to create for the people they love.
Because no wedding should ever feel like someone else’s wedding.
For this reason every celebration we create is entirely bespoke, designed around the couple, the destination and the experience they want their guests to live.
To preserve this level of care, we choose to plan a limited number of weddings each year, allowing us to dedicate the attention, creativity and presence that every celebration deserves.
Most of our weddings take place across Northern Italy — from Venice and Turin to the Italian Riviera, the vineyards of Piedmont and Tuscany, and the timeless beauty of Lake Como.
