Bianca Trusiani – BWI Technical Committee Responsible
Bianca Trusiani, has devoted her life to tourism, which has always been her most important passion. Since she was a child she has travelled a lot with her family and these experiences have opened her mind to different cultures, traditions, landscapes, historical sites and cultural heritages of many Countries. This is the reason why she has chosen a career in tourism: at first as travel agent specialized in tailor-made, and then as technical director of agency and tourism operator manager. She organizes masters and she is consulent for many different public institutions for the environment development and she also works in Euro planning.
On February 14th 2012 started her path in Destination Wedding, when she became owner of Wedding and Travel®, brand and tour operator, which bounds the worlds of wedding and travel creating a production chain of travel agencies and wedding planner foreign and Italian. The brand Wedding Made In Italy® was born to promote wedding incoming products, to allow these companies to participate to international and italian exhibitions under the same brand.In May 2016 many participants took part to the first SpeedUp dedicated to Destination Wedding at the Boscolo Exedra Hotel in Rome, during which Bianca Trusiani explained the need to combine all the different professionalisms to create an attractive offer for the world different markets.
Since June 2016 she has been coordinating the Technical Committee of BWI, B2B event dedicated to Destination Wedding which was held in Bologna from 14 to 16 October. She has been defined by the press the “guru” of Destination Wedding after an important consultation for Benevento CNA. She is consultant and Responsible of the Technical Commitee of Buy Wedding in Italy, the most important Italian Exhibition dedicated to destination Wedding.
“My mission, which started many years ago, is to increase awareness of the territories, the institutions, the local authorities and, of course, of all the professional operators of wedding and tourism about the interesting opportunities that Destination Wedding can offer and about the real necessity to build a structured offer to break through in the international markets.”
Gianluca Tedesco – Consulente Comitato Tecnico Buy Wedding in Italy
Gianluca Tedesco is first af all a traveller, who has visited more than 50 different countries in 4 continents, achieving an enriched vision of life and foreign cultures. After his graduation in foreign languages, he won a scolarship for a MBA in tourism company management, which he completed top marks, combining an economical education to a cultural education.
His career began during his last three months of Master, indeed after his speaches at Rhodes Chamber of Commerce and at Pestum tourism fair, the hotel company Alpitour Hotels and Resort, hired him in Rome and assigned him a portfolio of 700 rooms and congress rooms, producing a virtuous effect both on costs and revenues growing at an annual 15-20% rate.
After this experience, he started to work as consultant for many tourist accommodations tour operators in Italy. His national and international contacts generated by the constant participation to tourism fairs helped the revenues of many operators as well as the revenues of the hotels he manages to grow. He coordinates the launch of the Russian market, thank to eductours and direct marketing actions in some Italian tourism destinations.
In 2015 he became director of a destination Holiday Consortium, with 27 hotels, some non-hotel-accommodations, Chianciano baths, an American medical Institute and 30 other commercial entities: restaurants, shops, crafts and food-and-wine producers.
The challenge of Chianciano baths, which in the previous 12 years had experienced a constant decrease of its appeal, with a dramatic fall from a million visitors to 650.000 in 2015, engaged him and under Tedesco’s direction, the Consortium started taking off, achieving unexpected results. The partners noticed an immediate ROI and a stunning product building, with a boom of visitors and the reopening of several hotels. The 2015 reporting is characterized by a result three times its estimate.
In 2016 Tedesco started to run directly the marketing of Chianciano baths, which in the meanwhile had restarted bottling, its health area, the merger with the American Company UPMC, launched a new cosmetics products line and planned the new opening of two structures: a wellness and a medical one.
Tedesco working activity continues as consultant for some hotel and-non-hotel-accommodations in Lazio and in Campania, and he has some consultant projects in collaboration with Bianca Trusiani for Destination Wedding, Hotel Education and tourism flows management in Italy and also internationally.
Angelo Garini – “Events Architect”
Internationally known as a distinctive example of luxury, sophistication, exclusivity and elegance Angelo Garini is considered the role model for the most exclusive events, both in Italy and in Europe, where he is ambassador of the Italian Style.
He is author of two books which represent the most detached realizations of his career: “Weddings in Italy” translated also in English and distributed in Italy, Europe and USA and “The Wedding”. He is also author of the magazine “Imagine, the house, the party, the life, the wedding” in which he presents trends, suggestions and news in the event market for all the style-life lovers. TV star of the wedding market he has been broadcasted since 2005 with the cult programme “Wedding Planner” on Real Time.
Cinzia Renzi – Tour Operator
Cinzia Renzi has devoted her career to tourism since 1985 with competence and professionality. More than 30 years in the tourism field have brought Cinzia to cover different institutional roles at the top of category associations such as: President of the FIAVET and vice-president of ASTOI and member of many committee, the most important of which are: Tourism Policy Committee – Rome Province (from 1999 to 2007), Partnership of Tourism Regional Agency – Latium (from 2008 to 2009), Committee for Sustainable Tourism of the Ministry of Tourism (from 2009 to 2011). During the years she taught in many Professional and Technical Schools for Tourism and in Tourism Master for the University LUISS and “La Sapienza” in Rome.
She approached the market of Teen Tours accompaying students in Europe and adults all over the world, visiting this way all the five continents.
In 1992 she founded “Frisbee Viaggi” travel agency and Tour Operator, specialized at first in study trips. From 1995 to 2015 she also directed a second travel agency in Rome.
In 2016 started her cooperation with Bianca Trusiani, founder of Wedding Made in Italy, offering a 360-degree product for Wedding and Travel for the implementation of Honeymoons and tailor made travels in Italy and abroad.
